Flanked by the wonderful, trout-filled and fast-flowing river Wye, Ashford-in-the-Water is famed for its Sheepwash Bridge, ducks and charming Norman church. The village is a popular haunt with tourists and is well served by two excellent and different pubs with The Ashford Arms also offering accommodation. Ashford owes some of its popularity to its proximity to Monsal Dale and Bakewell between which it basks in the freshest of Peak District air, just off the A6 Buxton road. Our all-new 2011 full HD Ashford in the Water video will give you a flavour of the village and persuade you to come and rest awhile yourselves - we hope you enjoy the show!
